Terms of Service
The terms that guide how PawsinTrust™ works for your family.
Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. What PawsinTrust™ is
PawsinTrust™ is an educational planning resource and organizational framework designed to help families prepare for emergencies, life transitions, incapacity, and end-of-life situations involving family animals. The platform provides preparedness documents, planning worksheets, caregiver coordination tools, and educational resources.
2. Not a law firm. Not legal advice.
PawsinTrust™ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, attorney-client services, or guarantees of legal enforceability. The documents you create using PawsinTrust™ are educational planning and preparedness materials, not legal instruments.
Trusts, wills, powers of attorney, guardianship designations, estate plans, and any other legal instruments must be prepared and reviewed by qualified legal counsel in your jurisdiction. State and local laws vary. Please consider consulting a qualified attorney in the PawsinTrust™ Professional Partner Directory for legal matters.
3. Not veterinary, financial, or licensed professional advice
PawsinTrust™ does not provide veterinary, medical, financial, tax, or other licensed professional advice. Consider consulting qualified professionals — including those in the PawsinTrust™ Professional Partner Directory — for those decisions.
4. Your account and information
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to use PawsinTrust™ only for lawful purposes and only for planning related to your own family animals or those for whom you have authority to plan.
5. Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds
Some PawsinTrust™ plans and services require a one-time or recurring payment. Pricing is shown at checkout. Plan tiers, included documents, and pricing may change; existing purchases remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase. Requests for refunds within 14 days of an initial purchase will be reviewed in good faith. Contact us to start a refund request.
6. AI-assisted planning guidance
Any AI-assisted features within PawsinTrust™ act as a planning guide for preparedness, organization, and education only. They are not a substitute for an attorney, financial advisor, veterinarian, or other licensed professional.
7. Intellectual property
The PawsinTrust™ name, marks, document templates, educational content, and platform are the intellectual property of PawsinTrust™. You may use generated documents and downloads for your family's planning purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially license platform content without written permission.
8. Caregiver invitations and shared information
When you invite a caregiver or share information through the platform, you confirm that you have the right to share that information. Recipients are bound by the sharing permissions you select.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
PawsinTrust™ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawsinTrust™ disclaims all warranties, express or implied. PawsinTrust™ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that present a risk to other users or to the platform.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to active accounts.
